Prombot Challenge - The first hackaton on programming robots will be in one pavilion with the BITVA ROBOTOV

The final of the hackathon on programming, the Promobot Challenge will be held In Sochi, within the framework of the World Festival of Youth and Students. The task of the participants was the development of software for the domestic service robot Promobot. Each participant has a chance to get a contract with the company for special developments, as well as to take part in international competitions of service robots. The goal of the hackathon is the development of domestic robotics and support the novice developers.

The organizer of the event is Promobot, a manufacturer of autonomous service robots. These are robots that easily cope with the functions of promoters, administrators, concierges and guides. Participants need to submit a business model of the IAC (individual application case) and develop software for the described tasks. Teams need to demonstrate the robots in action in Sochi - the best team will get the latest version of the robot at its full disposal, as well as the opportunity to implement its development on the market.

The audience will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the robot merchandiser who is able to analyze the content of shelves with products and also to recognize which goods are missing and pass this information to suppliers, with a concierge robot that will have a pass-through system, a robot ticket attendant that will help to find necessary tickets, accept payments and print checks and even a national security robot that can recognize persons, send notifications to the guard if they find things left without supervision.
